Morning Angel

Hello Angel… this little beauty is beckoning us from a pot on the deck. Each shift of the sun highlights a different feature on her beautiful face. I love watching her though the day to see what she’s doing

It’s day three or four here at Porpoise Bay. Time kind of floats like that here:, I’m not even sure what day it is. It’s just a loop of sketching, reading, napping, a bit of computer work here and there. I't’s a beautiful blur.

I’ve been drawing everything EXCEPT the big money shot view out the living room window! I’m leaving soon, so I guess it’s time. Here goes…

One last lunch, at the Ocean Club Cafe with Sheree, sketching out the window. Our server was awesome, and very interested in our sketches. And the food was great too. Will definitely come back here.

Here are the timelapse videos for the above. For you who like to do these things… if you look closely you’ll see me decide to change how I do lettering. I spent an evening trying out different pens, discovered the Procreate Calligraphy Brush Pen and fell in love. I stayed up until 3 am and redid the writing on every single sketchbook page I’ve done! Crazy, I know, but i’m much happier with how these look now. Thank God for layers, right?!
