Singing Along With Elmo

This sweet little bunny. I can’t look at her without a feeling of pure wonder. She’s fascinated at the moment with all things music and/or Sesame Street, and especially the space where those two interests collide, in hits such as ‘Elmo’s Song’ and Oscar’s ‘I Love Trash’. They’ve both become earworms for me; rolling around my brain over and over in my brain . But it’'s worth it to see her light up like this.

You may recognize this onesie from my 18-24 months sketch. It’s even cuter on. So adorable. .

Lamb-ma Betty of course is the sweet stuffed lamb that my mom Betty gave her. Lamb-ma Betty goes where we go, no exceptions.

I’m soaking up as much time with Miss Harri as I can before we go for our big trip. This sketch is from last week up at Apex, but i’ll be back with her by Sunday night. My god, I count the days not when i’m away for a week. How am I going to manage a five month art teaching trip?! But that’s what video calling is for.

Funny, I have a similar painting, done in oils, of her father at about the same age. No idea where it is now but when I find it i’ll add it to this post.
